The Three Websites That I Used For My Research Are:
1. The Ann Frank House
This is a website that features everything you could possibly want to know about the Holocaust-- and it is student friendly. This website is valid as it uses the ".org".
2. Daily Mail Online
This website has many articles, and among them I found one about why Hitler had such a strong hatred for Jews. It is a credible site because it has the name of the author of the article, and when the article was written.
3. Holocaust History Project
Although this website does not have the name of the author, it is a ".org" website and the information is clear and to the point.
What I Learned!
Hitler blamed the Jews for things like losing World War One, and the fact that they were in an economic crisis(Website #1). However, this was all totally untrue, and it was anything but the Jews fault. Hitler believed that the solution to all of his problems was to exterminate all Jews(Website #1). Hitler's hatred of Jews could also possibly be traced back to his childhood. He grew up in Vienna, and the mayor there was anti-Semitic(Website #1). However, Hitler's hatred of Jews cannot be traced back to a single event in his childhood.
Website #2 suggests that Hitler blamed the Jews for the Russian Revolution and the fall of the German economy. Before, most German banks were owned by Jewish people, newspapers were primarily run by Jews, and so were many stores(Website #2). This is most likely why Germans blamed Jewish people for the economic downfall! Also, website #2 states that Jewish people were involved in the "brief Soviet Republic founded in Munich in 1919, against everything Hitler the nationalist stood for."(Website #2). This website concludes that the involvement of the Jewish people in the Russian Revolution is the most prominent idea that Hitler may have hated the Jews(Website #2).
Website #3 did not include much detail, but it stated the same things as the second website. Hitler's hatred against the Jews originated from the Russian Revolution, and that they were the reason for the loss of World War One(Website #3). It explained how Hitler's anti-Semitic views were fashionable among people. Very few people spoke out against these horrible ideas, and eventually the anti-Semitic views took over all life in Nazi Germany. There was no one left to protest against it(Website #3). This website concluded that Hitler's hatred for Jews was a result of his strong belief in Antisemitism(Website #3).
